Bezzecchi Struggles to Adapt to New Bike in MotoGP Season

As the 2024 MotoGP season kicked off, all eyes were on Marco Bezzecchi as he made the move to the GP23 bike with which Francesco Bagnaia won the 2023 title for the factory Ducati team. With three victories under his belt in his sophomore campaign last year, Bezzecchi was expected to continue his strong form and challenge for the championship.
However, things have not gone according to plan for the Italian rider. Despite his impressive track record, Bezzecchi has struggled to find his footing on the new bike, resulting in underwhelming performances in the first two races of the season. With only a sixth-place finish in Portugal, Bezzecchi sits in 13th place in the championship standings, behind even his recovering teammate Franco Morbidelli.
