Kosport Magazine: Dana White Teases Conor McGregor’s Return to the UFC

The anticipation for the UFC’s upcoming pay-per-view event is reaching a fever pitch, and UFC CEO Dana White is adding fuel to the fire with a major announcement regarding the promotion’s biggest star.

In a video posted to his Instagram story, White teased the return of former two-division champion Conor McGregor, who was seen walking into a building ahead of a UFC event. The caption read “Coming soon…” leaving fans speculating about McGregor’s potential comeback.

McGregor had previously announced that he would be facing fellow Ultimate Fighter 31 coach Michael Chandler on June 29 at UFC 303, the main event for the promotion’s annual International Fight Week. However, White had not confirmed the matchup and even expressed hope that McGregor would return in the fall to face Chandler.

In a recent interview on The MMA Hour, McGregor stated that his return to the UFC is “imminent” and that he will be back this summer. This would mark his first appearance since suffering a leg injury in a TKO loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021.
