UFC Returns to New Jersey for Exciting Summer Event
Get ready, fight fans! UFC is coming back to New Jersey for an action-packed event on June 1 at the Prudential Center in Newark. This highly anticipated event, officially named UFC 302, was announced during the UFC Atlantic City broadcast on Saturday night.
The Prudential Center has been a popular venue for UFC in the past, most recently hosting UFC 288 in May 2023. This event featured a bantamweight title bout between Aljamain Sterling and Henry Cejudo, which drew in a huge crowd of fans.
But that’s not all – UFC has also confirmed five exciting matchups for the summer pay-per-view event. This includes a highly anticipated middleweight bout between ranked fighters Roman Dolidze and Anthony Hernandez, as well as a lightweight showdown between Grant Dawson and Joe Solecki.
Other matchups on the card include Ailin Perez vs. Joselyne Edwards, Phil Rowe vs. Jake Matthews, and Mickey Gall vs. Bassil Hafez. With such a stacked lineup, this event is sure to be one for the books.
