Kosport Magazine is thrilled to announce that on Monday 1 April, Formula 1 owner Liberty Media made a groundbreaking move by acquiring MotoGP and its parent company Dorna Sports from Bridgepoint Capital for a whopping €4.2 billion. This deal has been in the works for some time now, and we are excited to see it finally come to fruition.
Originally set to be finalized before the start of the 2024 MotoGP season, the deal faced some delays due to the necessary clearance from anti-trust boards, particularly in the European Union. But now, with all the regulatory hurdles cleared, we can officially welcome MotoGP into the Liberty Media
