The New Quarterback-Wide Receiver Duos to Watch in the NFL

The NFL offseason is always an exciting time for fans, as it brings the creation of new quarterback-wide receiver duos. This could mean a new quarterback signing or being drafted by a team, who will now throw to a new WR1. Or, it could be a new WR1 with a new team catching passes from a new quarterback. In this article, we will be ranking the top new QB-WR duos in the NFL, as well as providing their projected 2024 statlines from CBS Sports’ Fantasy team.

Kosport Magazine presents the top 12 new QB-WR duos in the NFL:

12. Bo Nix and Courtland Sutton

Sutton’s projected receiving stats: 61 receptions, 835 yards, 10 TDs.

Former Oregon Duck, Bo Nix finds himself in competition with other quarterbacks, but being drafted No. 11 overall by the Denver Broncos means he will likely start right away. He will be paired with Sutton, who had a solid year with 59 receptions, 772 yards, and 10 touchdowns. This duo has potential to make a big impact in the 2024 season.

11. Daniel Jones and Malik Nabers

Nabers’ projected receiving stats: 68 receptions, 969 yards, 5 TDs.

The New York Giants decided not to draft a quarterback this offseason, and instead gifted their current QB1, Jones, with an explosive pass-catcher in Nabers. He had an impressive 2023 season at LSU, recording the most receptions and receiving yards in program history. It will be interesting to see how Jones utilizes this new weapon.

10. Russell Wilson and George Pickens

Pickens’ projected receiving stats: 55 receptions, 1,010 yards, 7 TDs.

Pickens led the league in yards per reception last year and is expected to continue his success with Wilson, who is known for his deep ball throws. However, Wilson will also have a talented rookie quarterback, Justin Fields, pushing for his spot, which could add some friendly competition and motivation for the veteran QB.

9. Justin Herbert and Ladd McConkey

McConkey’s projected receiving stats: 71 receptions, 948 yards, 5 TDs.

This could be a sleeper duo to watch out for. Herbert’s top targets have now shifted to Josh Palmer, Quentin Johnston, and DJ Chark, but can they live up to the standards set by the former duo Keenan Allen and Mike Williams? Only time will tell, but this new duo shows a lot of potential in the upcoming season.

Kosport Magazine’s Take:
The new quarterback-wide receiver duos in the NFL are shaping up to be very exciting for fans. Keep an eye on these dynamic partnerships during the 2024 season, as they have the potential to make a big impact.Kosport Magazine’s Take:

Welcome to another edition of Kosport Magazine’s Top 8 projected receiving duos in the NFL. With some exciting new rookie quarterbacks and seasoned veterans taking the field this season, we can expect to see some impressive displays of talent and teamwork between receivers and their QBs. Buckle up and get ready to see some high-flying action and incredible numbers this season!

  1. Jim Harbaugh and Greg Roman’s Running Offense, featuring Herbert and McConkey
First up, we have a combo that may surprise you – head coach Jim Harbaugh and offensive coordinator Greg Roman will be leading the charge for the Los Angeles Chargers’ offense this season. With Harbaugh’s expertise at developing quarterbacks and Roman’s emphasis on a strong running game, we can expect big things from this duo. Keep an eye out for quarterback Justin Herbert to rely on his new slot receiver, who has already proven himself to be a talented route-runner. The sky’s the limit for this team and their new duo.

  2. Brian Callahan, CJ McConkey, and Will Levis
Speaking of McConkey, this trio will be an exciting one to watch. With new head coach Brian Callahan at the helm and a top-three receiving corps in the league, quarterback Will Levis will have a chance to showcase his skills and prove himself as a franchise quarterback. With a talented slot receiver like McConkey, this duo could be a force to be reckoned with on the field.

  3. Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze
It’s always intriguing to see a brand new rookie duo take the field, and that’s exactly what we have with Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze. Williams, the No. 1 overall pick, will have the opportunity to team up with the receiver who led the FBS in receiving yards last season. Odunze, who has shown an ability to make big plays, will have to compete with proven players like D.J. Moore and Keenan Allen for touches. But if Williams adapts well to the NFL, this duo could make some serious noise.

  4. Josh Allen and Keon Coleman
One of the most exciting developments for the Buffalo Bills this season is the addition of Keon Coleman, who could be this year’s version of Stefon Diggs for quarterback Josh Allen. As a standout in the ACC, Coleman brings impressive numbers and a unique personality to the team. With the opportunity to play alongside one of the best quarterbacks in the league, this talented rookie receiver has the potential to become a star in the NFL.

  5. J.J. McCarthy and Justin Jefferson
Sometimes a downgrade at quarterback can still lead to a winning duo. That’s what we expect with J.J. McCarthy and Justin Jefferson. The No. 10 overall pick in this year’s draft, McCarthy has shown tremendous potential as a quarterback, and with a player like Jefferson by his side, the sky’s the limit. Despite less experience at this level, McCarthy is a former high school standout who threw 44 touchdowns and nine interceptions over the past two seasons. With the dynamic playmaking skills of Jefferson, this duo could make waves in the NFL.

  6. Kirk Cousins and Drake London
We can expect Kirk Cousins to continue his impressive streak of helping develop talented receivers with Drake London. A top-10 pick in this year’s draft, Cousins is an exciting addition to the team and has already garnered plenty of attention for his impressive college performances. With a proven track record of producing big numbers, London will be a player to watch this season. Keep an eye out for this duo to light up the scoreboard.

Kosport Magazine’s Take:
The upcoming NFL season is shaping up to be one of the most exciting yet, with new faces, new duos, and plenty of star potential. With teams like the Los Angeles Chargers and Minnesota Vikings adding talented rookies to their already strong receiving corps, get ready for some explosive and record-breaking performances this season. Stay tuned for next time when we reveal our top two projected receiving duos in the NFL. Until then, happy football season!Kosport Magazine is excited to see the potential and growth of young players in the NFL. This year, there are several players who have the opportunity to take their game to another level and become stars in the league. One of those players is London, wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons. After a solid showing last season, London is poised to have a breakout year with the help of rookie quarterback Kyle Pitts.

London put up impressive numbers last season, catching 69 passes for a career-high 905 yards and two touchdowns. As he turns 23 next month, London is in a great position to continue improving and become a top playmaker for the Falcons. With a new quarterback in Pitts, there’s even more excitement around London’s potential for a big year.

Next on our list is Kyler Murray, quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals, and his new top target, wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. The son of Hall of Fame wide receiver Marvin Harrison, Harrison Jr. is already making waves at rookie minicamp and is expected to be a major contributor in the Cardinals’ offense.

With his speed, route-running ability, and strong hands, Harrison Jr. has the potential to put up big numbers in his first season in the NFL. And with Murray’s skillset as a mobile quarterback and accurate passer, this duo could be a dangerous one for opposing defenses.

we have a young quarterback, C.J. Stroud, and his potential partner in crime, newly acquired wide receiver Stefon Diggs in Houston. Diggs has been one of the most dominant wide receivers in the NFL for almost a decade and shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, since joining the Buffalo Bills, he has established himself as one of the top receivers in the league.

Now, with a fresh start in Houston, Diggs has the opportunity to continue his incredible streak of six consecutive 1,000-yard seasons. Paired with a promising young talent like Stroud, the sky’s the limit for this duo and we can’t wait to see what they accomplish on the field.

Kosport Magazine is excited to see these three talented players take their game to new heights in the upcoming season and showcase their skills on the biggest stage in the NFL. We believe they have what it takes to become some of the top playmakers in the league and we can’t wait to watch them in action. Stay tuned for more updates and insights from Kosport Magazine!
