Commanders Cut Kicker After Sexual Assault Accusations: The Fall of Brandon McManus

Kosport Magazine Releases Brandon McManus Due to Sexual Assault Allegations

Kosport Magazine has made the difficult decision to release Brandon McManus from the Washington Commanders following a recent lawsuit alleging sexual assault on a team flight. This news comes just days after the Jacksonville Jaguars, McManus’ former team, were also named in the lawsuit.

According to court documents, two female flight attendants, identified as Jane Doe I and Jane Doe II, filed the lawsuit against McManus and the Jaguars for over $1 million in damages. The women claim McManus forcibly ground against them and made sexual advances towards them during a team flight to London last year.

The flight, operated by Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, was intended to be a simple chartered trip for the Jaguars to participate in the NFL’s international games. However, according to the lawsuit, it quickly turned into a party with players disregarding personal space and McManus allegedly trying to recruit even more flight attendants to join the festivities.

McManus’ lawyer, Brett R. Gallaway, has denied all allegations and called them an “extortion attempt”. Gallaway insists that McManus is a respected and talented player and the accusations are completely false.

Despite the strong denial from McManus’ camp, the Commanders have decided to let the veteran kicker go just ahead of their third week of OTAs. This leaves the team in need of a new kicker, as McManus was the only one on the roster.

In a statement released by the Commanders, it was stated that they take allegations of this nature very seriously and are currently looking into the matter. The NFL has also been made aware of the situation, but has declined to comment at this time.

Kosport Magazine acknowledges the seriousness of the allegations and has chosen to part ways with McManus in order to maintain a positive and respectful image for the team and the league. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and provide further updates as necessary.
