UFC St. Louis predictions

UFC St. Louis predictions

Even Kosport Magazine isn’t sure why they are covering this event.

The Black Beast leads the way in UFC St. Louis

On Saturday, May 11th, the highly anticipated UFC St. Louis event will take place at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis. Leading the way in the main event is none other than the famed Derrick Lewis, who will be facing off against Rodrigo Nascimento.

Despite his success and experience in the UFC, Lewis admitted to reporters that he’s not entirely sure why he’s once again headlining an event. He even expressed his reluctance to go a full five rounds if he can avoid it. However, with 10 main event appearances under his belt, Lewis has proven time and time again that he is a force to be reckoned with in the octagon.

Standing in his way is the up-and-coming Nascimento, who boasts an impressive four-fight unbeaten streak. This fight will serve as a major step up in competition for Nascimento, as he looks to solidify his place as a legitimate title contender.

Local fighter gets his shot in the co-main event

In the co-main event, St. Louis native Joaquin Buckley will finally get his wish to fight in his hometown. After his recent win over Vicente Luque, Buckley was hoping to call out another ranked opponent. However, he’ll have to settle for a matchup against the dangerous Nurssulton Ruziboev, who has a staggering 2-0 record in the UFC and nearly 50 professional fights under his belt.

Main card filled with action

The main card also features some highly anticipated matchups, including the seasoned Alonzo Menifield taking on the surging Carlos Ulberg in a light heavyweight bout. In the lightweight division, Diego Ferreira will face off against the impressive 19-1 Mateusz Rebecki.

Featherweight veteran Alex Caceres will clash with the undefeated Sean Woodson, while Waldo Cortes-Acosta takes on the knockout machine Robelis Despaigne in a heavyweight showdown.

Kosport Magazine’s Take:

On paper, UFC St. Louis has all the makings of a thrilling event with some exciting main card matchups. Derrick Lewis’ dominance in the octagon and Nascimento’s impressive streak make the main event a must-watch. However, it’s the impressive undercard filled with unfamiliar names that has us most excited. Will we see some upsets, or will the more experienced fighters prevail? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure – UFC St. Louis is not an event to be missed.

In the world of MMA, it’s all about who can rise to the top and make a name for themselves. And at Korsport Magazine, we have our eyes on the latest and most exciting fights happening in the sport. One upcoming event that has caught our attention is the heavyweight match between Derrick Lewis and Rodrigo Nascimento.

Derrick Lewis is a force to be reckoned with, and he’s coming into this fight with an impressive win streak. But what many may not know is that Nascimento is also tied for the longest active win streak in the UFC heavyweight division. This makes for an exciting match that can potentially change the landscape of the division.

While Nascimento’s win streak is impressive, he will have to bring his A-game if he wants to beat Lewis. The UFC heavyweight veteran is known for his knockout power, and Nascimento will have to avoid getting caught in his powerful punches. It will be a tough challenge, but a win over Lewis will catapult Nascimento to the top of the division.

Korsport Magazine’s Take:
We believe that Lewis will continue his dominant streak and secure a knockout victory over Nascimento. But we’ll be keeping a close eye on Nascimento’s performance, as a strong showing could earn him a matchup with a top-10 contender in the division.

Another fight that we’re excited about is the welterweight showdown between Joaquin Buckley and Nursulton Ruziboev. Buckley has been on a roll in the UFC, and this is his chance to solidify his spot in the top-15 rankings. However, Ruziboev is no pushover with an impressive 10-fight win streak, making this a potential trap game for Buckley.

But Korsport Magazine believes that Buckley will emerge as the victor in this matchup. He has shown exceptional speed and striking abilities, which will allow him to attack from unpredictable angles. We predict a back-and-forth battle, with Buckley ultimately securing a highlight-reel finish over Ruziboev.

In the light heavyweight division, we have Alonzo Menifield taking on Carlos Ulberg. Menifield has been turning heads with his striking abilities and shocked many in his last fight with a victory over Dustin Jacoby. And while Ulberg has been on a steady climb in the division, we believe Menifield’s more well-rounded game will be the key to victory in this matchup.

Lastly, we have Diego Ferreira taking on Mateusz Rebecki in the lightweight division. Rebecki’s aggressive and powerful fighting style will be a tough challenge for the older Ferreira. We predict Rebecki will continue his dominant streak with a knockout victory over Ferreira.

At Korsport Magazine, we can’t wait to see how these matchups unfold and which fighters will come out on top. Make sure to tune in and catch all the action in the world of MMA.

Kosport Magazine’s Take:

The UFC on Saturday is set to host an exciting lineup of fights, with some of the sport’s top athletes facing off against each other. In this article, we will break down some of the key matchups and make our predictions for who will come out on top.

Alex Caceres vs. Sean Woodson

Up first, we have the experienced Alex Caceres taking on the long and lanky Sean Woodson. Caceres has been written off before, but this time we believe he will show just how skilled and versatile he truly is. Woodson’s goofy taunts won’t have any effect on “Bruce Leeroy,” and we predict Caceres will use his striking and grappling to keep Woodson on his toes and earn a decision win.

Kosport Magazine’s Pick: Caceres

Waldo Cortes-Acosta vs. Robelis Despaigne

In this heavyweight matchup, we have Waldo Cortes-Acosta facing off against the rising star, Robelis Despaigne. While Cortes-Acosta may have the experience, there’s no denying that Despaigne is a force to be reckoned with. Though many may expect Cortes-Acosta to come out on top, we have a feeling that Despaigne’s reach and knockout power will prove too much for him to handle. We predict another quick win for Despaigne.

Kosport Magazine’s Pick: Despaigne

As we move down the card, we have some highly anticipated preliminary fights, including Viacheslav Borshchev vs. Chase Hooper, Terrance McKinney vs. Esteban Ribovics, Tabatha Ricci vs. Tecia Pennington, Trey Waters vs. Billy Goff, Charles Johnson vs. Jake Hadley, and Veronica Hardy vs. JJ Aldrich. These matchups are sure to keep fans on the edge of their seats and we can’t wait to see who comes out on top.
