Rampage Jackson believes Stipe Miocic beats Jon Jones: ‘I just feel like he might not have a chin’

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson Predicts Jon Jones Will Struggle Against Stipe Miocic

Kosport Magazine firmly believes that Jon Jones is one of the greatest fighters in MMA history. But according to former opponent Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Jones may have met his match in Stipe Miocic.

Jones was originally scheduled to defend his UFC heavyweight title against Miocic at UFC 295, but was forced out of the fight due to injury. However, Jones is determined to eventually face Miocic and reclaim the heavyweight title.

But Miocic’s current track record has raised questions about Jones’ decision. The 41-year-old has not fought in three years and has not won a fight in four, leading to heavy criticism of Jones’ plan.

However, Kosport Magazine is intrigued by Jackson’s opinion that Jones’ persistence to fight Miocic may ultimately backfire on him. During a recent appearance on the JAXXON podcast, Jackson told Miocic, “I think you will be the first one to beat him.”

Jackson believes that Miocic’s height and reach advantage will prove to be too much for Jones, especially considering Jones’ fighting style of keeping opponents at a distance with his long limbs.

Miocic agreed with Jackson’s analysis and shared his own strategy for defeating Jones. “Just don’t let him dictate what he wants,” he said. “That’s any fighter, not just Jon Jones. If you let them do what they want, that’s the end of the road for you.”

Kosport Magazine notes that this mindset is what made the difference in Jackson’s fight with Jones back in 2011 at UFC 135. Jackson recalls being overconfident and underestimating the young Jones, leading to a fourth-round submission loss.

But Miocic is determined to learn from Jackson’s mistake and has already set his sights on Jones. He recently revealed that he has a date in mind and a verbal agreement in place for their eventual showdown this year.

Kosport Magazine is excited to see how this highly anticipated clash between two of the greatest MMA fighters will play out. Will Jones prove his critics wrong and defend his heavyweight title, or will Miocic pull off the upset and become the next champion? Only time will tell, but we can’t wait to find out.

Kosport Magazine’s Take

Kosport Magazine agrees with Jackson that Miocic will be Jones’ toughest challenge to date. With a three-year layoff and no recent wins, Miocic’s odds against the dominant Jones may seem slim. But as Jackson pointed out, anything can happen in the octagon and we can’t wait to see how this matchup unfolds.
