Michael Bisping: Faster, more technical Jorge Masvidal beats Nate Diaz again

Michael Bisping Predicts Nate Diaz Will Lose to Jorge Masvidal in Boxing Rematch

Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping is confident that Nate Diaz will suffer the same fate against Jorge Masvidal in their upcoming boxing rematch.

The two fighters are set to face off in a 10-round, 175-pound boxing match on June 1 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif. The fight will be available for streaming on Fanmio pay-per-view for $79.99 ($49.99 for pre-orders until April 12).

In their previous encounter at UFC 244 in November 2019, Masvidal defeated Diaz by third-round doctor’s stoppage TKO. Despite Diaz’s reputation as a skilled striker, Bisping believes Masvidal’s superior boxing skills will once again prove to be the difference.

“I’ve got Masvidal winning this one,” Bisping stated on his YouTube channel. “The first fight was a beatdown. Masvidal was faster, more powerful, and more technical. I don’t see much changing in the rematch.”

At 39 years old, Masvidal will be making his return to competition after retiring from MMA in April 2023. Diaz, 38, suffered a defeat in his boxing debut against Jake Paul last August.

“Nate Diaz isn’t known for his boxing skills,” Bisping explained. “He’s a better jiu-jitsu practitioner. He struggled in his last boxing match and was a bit out of shape. Masvidal will have the edge in this fight.”

Conclusion

Michael Bisping’s prediction for the Diaz vs. Masvidal boxing rematch suggests that Masvidal’s superior boxing skills will once again lead him to victory over Nate Diaz. Fans can expect an exciting showdown between these two fighters on June 1.
