The 25-year-old has been a valuable asset to the NL Central-leading Brewers, boasting a 2-0 record with a 2.57 ERA in five starts. However, he was forced to miss the end of spring training due to bone spurs in his throwing elbow. Despite this setback, Gasser managed to make an impressive comeback and pitch five consecutive wins for the Brewers before being placed on the injured list on June 5.

Gasser, who was drafted by the San Diego Padres in 2021, was traded to the Brewers in 2022 along with three other players for closer Josh Hader. Unfortunately, the Brewers have also lost pitchers Brandon Woodruff and Wade Miley for the season.
