Southern California’s fan-favorite boxer to headline July fight
The excitement is building for another night of action-packed boxing at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Southern California. On July 19th, undefeated Santiago “Somer” Dominguez (27-0, 20 KOs) from Ciudad Obregón, Mexico will face off against crowd-pleaser Alexis “Lex” Rocha (24-2, 16 KOs) in a 12-round welterweight fight to headline the event.
Rocha, known for his electrifying performances, is grateful for the opportunity to showcase his talents once again. “I’m thankful to Golden Boy, DAZN, and my entire team for giving me the chance to headline another card,” said Rocha. “My losses don’t define me, but rather how I respond to them. But with a recent comeback win against Fredrick Lawson, Rocha is determined to continue his journey to the top.
The undefeated Dominguez, born in Ciudad Obregón, Mexico, has also worked hard to climb the welterweight ranks. He has held several regional titles throughout his career and is now ready to prove that he belongs among the top contenders for a world title.
